I made this site-specific installation for the billboard in front of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in my final year of study. I got inspired by seventies step-by-step self-teaching yoga guides. I am reproducing Viparita Shalabhasana, also known as the Superman pose. The billboard's position and the image make it look like I am flying away from the school. It is both a reference to my graduation project (see The Clear Blue Sky From Which The Airplane Fell) and the fact that I was about to leave school.
